Scope and summary
This Privacy Policy applies to the fr3t.app application for iPhone and iPad and to app-specific support and privacy communications. In this policy, "LearnCenter," "we," "us," and "our" mean LearnCenter LLC.
The LearnCenter website Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy govern website processing outside the app-specific matters described here.
- fr3t.app does not require an account.
- The app does not include ads.
- The app does not use third-party tracking SDKs.
- LearnCenter does not sell personal information.
- The app does not upload its locally stored fretboard, audio-setting, sequencer, or practice state to LearnCenter servers.
- fr3t.app does not provide LearnCenter cloud sync.
Information stored on your device
Locally stored information may include:
- Fretboard and tuning choices
- String-count settings
- Selected key, scale, chord, and CAGED settings
- Visible fret range and display preferences
- Note names, scale-degree labels, root highlighting, and accidental preferences
- Audio settings
- Sequencer progressions, presets, tempo, time signature, loop, and count-in settings
- Practice attempts, correct answers, streaks, average response time, and session settings
The app uses Apple device storage, including UserDefaults, for local preferences and state. LearnCenter does not receive this information unless you choose to describe it or include it in a support or privacy message.
Deleting the app can delete its locally stored settings and practice data. The app does not provide a LearnCenter account or cloud-sync service that restores that state.
Information you choose to send
When you contact LearnCenter, we may receive your name, email address, message, device model, operating-system version, app version, screenshots, screen recordings, or other diagnostic context you choose to include.
We use that information to answer the message, troubleshoot a reported issue, improve the app, maintain security, protect our rights, and comply with applicable law.
We keep support, privacy, and legal communications only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and for any records we are required to maintain.
App permissions, Apple APIs, and diagnostics
Device permissions
The current version of fr3t.app does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, Bluetooth, or HealthKit data. It does not use advertising identifiers.
Apple APIs
The app uses UserDefaults to save local preferences and app state. It may also use Apple timing APIs for audio transport, sequencing, performance timing, and interface timing. These uses are declared in the app's Apple privacy manifest and are not used for tracking.
Apple crash and analytics reports
Apple may process crash reports, analytics, device settings, and related information under Apple's own policies. Depending on your settings and Apple's reporting, Apple may provide LearnCenter with developer reports or crash information. If LearnCenter receives that information, we use it to understand app performance, diagnose issues, and improve reliability.
Apple requires developers to keep App Store privacy disclosures accurate and to account for relevant app and third-party SDK behavior. Required-reason API use must also match the app's privacy manifest.
Website, Apple, and service providers
LearnCenter webpages
When you visit this page or another LearnCenter webpage, the website host may process standard request information such as your IP address, browser type, requested URL, referring page, and timestamps. Any cookies or analytics used on LearnCenter webpages are described in the LearnCenter website Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Website processing is separate from the app state stored on your device.
Apple and the App Store
Apple may process information related to App Store downloads, purchases, crash reports, analytics, device settings, and user choices under Apple's own privacy policies and App Store terms.
Service providers and legal disclosures
LearnCenter may provide limited information you send to service providers that support email, website hosting, security, or legal compliance, and only as needed for those purposes. We do not provide your locally stored app state to those providers because LearnCenter does not receive that state.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
LearnCenter does not sell personal information or share app information for advertising or tracking.
Your choices and privacy rights
Local app data
You can remove locally stored app data by deleting fr3t.app from your device. This can remove settings, sequencer state, and practice progress.
Share links
You can choose not to create or send share links. Once a link has been sent, its recipient or another service may retain a copy outside LearnCenter's control.
Messages sent to LearnCenter
To ask about personal information contained in a support, privacy, or legal message, email privacy@learncenter.dev. You may request access, correction, or deletion, and LearnCenter will respond as required by applicable law.
Because fr3t.app does not require an account and LearnCenter does not receive the app state stored on your device, LearnCenter may have little or no app-related personal information to identify about you.
Additional rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. LearnCenter will handle verified requests as required by that law.
Children, security, changes, and contact
Children
fr3t.app is not directed to children under 13. LearnCenter does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information in a support or privacy message, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action.
Security
LearnCenter uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information it handles. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
LearnCenter may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. When a change materially affects how the app handles information, the app's privacy disclosures should be updated at the same time.
